  1. Thank you. Porsche told me that they have recorded everything from the last 3 visits. After mentioning some of the possible problems (found on this site - again, thank you), I was promised that they will get to the bottom of it. I have been doing business with this dealer for 15 years - the car only has 30k miles so, hopefully, they will be honest and tell me what is really wrong. The difficulty is that they probably do know what is wrong and just do not want to reveal the issue. Will let you know.
  2. 2003 C4S with 30,000 miles. On three occasions now, I start the car and the Check Engine light comes on with the note "Drive to Shop". The engine rumbles a bit in idle and you can feel something is wrong in 2nd gear. On each occasion, I call Porsche, they pick the car up, keep it for 1-3 weeks and then tell me that they couldn't find anything wrong (one time they told me they checked for a bad cylinder). When I get the car back, the Check Engine light is off and the car drives fine for a week or two and then it happens again. It has just happened for the 4th time. I get the feeling that Porsche knows something but doesn't want to say it. Although the miles are very low, the car is out of warranty. Has anybody else had this problem?
