  1. I read someone where that it is possible to get iPod connectivity by replacing the Becker CDR23 with a Becker Grand Prix. I have the Bose system in my 2003 C4. I wrote to Becker and got this response which I can't make sense of.... not sure what DIN 1 refers to in contrast to the fiber optics connections. Here's their response Dear Sir thank you for your inquiry. If your car has a 1 DIN slot the installation and connection of our car stereo systems is possible. We regret to inform you that we have no car specified details available. Our commercial devices do not support the remote control on your steering wheel. If an adapter or a frame should be necessary you will get this either directly from your distributor or Andreas Ehrenhuber Eversbuschstr. 39 Rückgebäude 80999 München Tel. 089/812 28 22 Mobil 0171/550 03 95 mailto:info@sam-technixx.de web: http://www.sam-technixx.de or Audiotechnik Dietz® Vertriebs-GmbH Benzstrasse 12 67269 Grünstadt eMail: jreinhart@dietz.biz www.dietz.biz Tel.: +49 (0) 6359 / 9331-38 Fax: +49 (0) 6359 / 9331-90 or Car Components GmbH Rheinstr. 56462 Höhn Tel: 02661 - 951 57 00 or Oettinger Mobile Systems Max-Planck-Straße 36 D-61381 Friedrichsdorf Tel.: +49 (0) 69 800 867 50 If the components in your car are connected over CAN bus, the installation is a little bit difficult because lines must be set for lights, ignition and speedimpulse. Existing components such as sound system, remote via steering wheel, CD changer, free speech mechanism can not longer be used because they are attached by optical digital cable.
