  1. I have a 2004 996 C2 with an OEM Aero Kit (I believe it is the Aero Kit I). At somewhat higher speeds (i.e., 60+ mph), and when I am accelerating quickly, the rear spoiler warning light comes on. The only way to get it off is to stop the car, turn it off, and then re-start the car. Any ideas on what may be causing the light to come on and what I can do to stop it? Thanks in advance!
  2. I'm a new Porsche owner (2004 911 C2) with low miles. Can anyone give me a sense of what "normal" oil consumption is? Car has no oil leaks (yet). Thanks.
  3. I recently purchased a 2004 C2 Cabriolet. It has 26,000 miles and is in great shape. The RMS was just replaced and I have inspected the car carefully (while up on a hoist) to confirm that there is no oil leaking anywhere. Despite this, after the car has been running/driving for 10 minutes or so, I always notice the smell of burnt oil when I come to a stop. There is no smoke; no leaks; no nothing! Just a smell of burnt oil from the rear of the car. I took it back to the dealer and, while they acknowledge the smell, can't find the source. Any suggestions? Thanks much.
