  1. Any new news on when the top with the glass window (or one from another manufacturer) may make it to the US? I have a 2000 Boxster that wants a new top, but at this point I'm going to wait it out in hope that the glass window will make it here in the next year.
  2. I want to install a Clarion SRV303 powered sub under my passenger seat and I'm wondering if anyone has removed that seat and can tell me how much clearance is under there. The thing is a little over 9" deep. Will it fit? I just want to get some bass in the car so I can turn the bass down to the rest of the speakers (the dash speakers can't do much volume at the current bass setting of "8"). http://www.crutchfield.com/S-MPAjsjvqYBK/c...ecs&i=020SRV303 I apologize to those who have to read this post on more than one forum (I see a lot of the same folks there, too). Thanks,
  3. I searched through the posts for info on this, but didn't find what I was looking for so... I'm trying to put rear speakers and some bass in my 2000 boxster for around $500 (give or take - the point being that I need better than what I've got, but not the best on the block). I currently have the speaker enclosure for the rear shelf, but it's empty. I bought a Clarion SRV-303 enclosed powered sub (7") hoping to fit in under the passenger seat, but that thing's bigger than I though it would be. I don't know if it's going to work. I just saw some older posts about the Bose rear shelf with rear speakers and powered subs (two 5.25" subs, I think). Can anyone tell me how good that whole unit is, about what it costs, and whether there's any problem fitting in in a 2000 Boxster? I also saw other posts referring to sub-woofer solutions that don't mess up the stock look, but didn't see the products listed. There was one in particular that referred to a powered sub that went under the passenger seat, and I'd be interested in learning about that. Anything you guys can tell me will be appreciated.
  4. I doubt mine is much of a job. It works fine and there is not damage that can be seen. There has to be a simple enough way to adjust this. The only wierd part is that it's off center. I guess that could mean there's a bend somewhere.
  5. Looks scientific. You guys just did one of those days, huh?
  6. Hi, I have a 2000 Boxster, but no owner's manual. My clamshell is shifted 1/4" to the right at the point where it meets the panel in front of it on the sides, and it looks like it's a little low on the right side. It's not grossly out of whack, but I always see the different gap sizes in my side mirrors and it's time to fix that. Looking at it this evening, I also noticed that the top is getting a wear mark from it on the right side, just a little bit behing the poing where the clamshell meets the sid of the car on the driver's side. Does anyone have some simple instructions for adjusting the clamshell? Or even some scans of the manual pages for this? Thanks.
