  1. Okay, I put the top town the other day, and I was getting ready to go in the garage... top wouldn't go up. I pull the fuse, still good, check the parking brake sensor... still all good. Yet, the top sill will do nothing, no noise (just dead). Right b/4 I go to sleep, I put the key to the 2nd position and the top starts to go up, gets 1/2 way and comes to a stop. Next morning, I put the key to 2nd position and it finishes closing. I made some calls to many places, hear it could be a transmission, a motor, and/or a control unit. Any idea? The top light on the dash is on, but the top is closed. Any way to check, it looks closed/seems closed and didn't fly off on the way to work at 80mph or so. 1996 993 C4 Cabrio
