  1. Good morning: I need the part number/name and price of the black plastic panel (Passenger side/right) just to the right of the main PCM display, that, along with the same panel on the left side, frames the center console. It's the vinyl, grained panel that with the full leather option is covered in stitched interior leather. I need in black. Thanks in advance, Patriot '05 Carrera Arctic Silver/Black
  2. I was hoping that wasn't the case. How much is the control part with the seat heater switches? I have some very small surface scratches on the plate that I can mostly cover up by applying some armor-all or even cockpit premium, but I was just checking to see how much the part costs and the part number. 3. Thanks Loren! I need one more too - the part number for the grayish metal-looking trim cover for the HVAC system in a 997 with heated seats. This is the squarish trim cover that sits just below the PCM screen and just above the slim rectangular piece housing the spoiler and PSM switch. Thanks in advance, Patriot
  4. I lost a piece of the lower underside trim, just forward of my left (driver) front wheel. It's a piece of black plastic that screws or rivets in, shaped kind of like the State of Idaho. Can you get me a part number/name for this part on a 2005 997? Thanks, Patriot
  5. The dealer received my check for the Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE) kit it happened to have in stock, and is holding it for me. Because my car does not have Sport Chrono, a separate (on-off) switch for the center console is needed. The switch is not included in the PSE kit, has its own part number and needs to be ordered separately. Problem is the switch is on back-order from Germany with no ETA. Parts and Service managers both say they can install the PSE without the switch, so its always on, then install the switch later when it arrives. What do you think? If I elect to do the install without the switch, will the PSE always be 'on?' Any downside to doing that? What would you recommend? YoungTurk '05 Carrera 911 (Arctic Silver/Black)
  6. Checked it and you're right. But the quarter wasn't dropped - it was in one of the coin slots in the console, and it would move horizontally, causing the noise. My bad - thanks for the heads-up!! Patriot '05 911 Carrera (Arctic Silver/Black)
  7. Might be - I'll check on that. Thanks for this and any other suggestions. Patriot
  8. My 997 is dead quiet, except for a 'rattle' that sounds like a marble or a ball rolling around somewhere to the right of the driver seat, when I go even slowly over soft bumps. I can't reproduce the sound from the seat, the buckle, the glovebox or the console cubby box. Any suggestions? Patriot
