  1. Thanks for the replies Loren and Paulspeed. Yes, I agree that the difference in weight would catch up to the springs sooner or later. Thanks for the confirmation. I did call Sunset. A new set of springs (front & rear) would be about $450 shipped. Would have liked to get a set of low mileage used for $100-200 but may have to bite the bullet and go for the new set as I haven't been able to find a set used. Might not be the worst thing to get a brand new set of springs for the "new" Turbo! How do you think the shocks (stock) have fared after being lowered for 10,000-20,000 miles? (Not sure when the car was lowered)
  2. My new (to me) 2003 996 TT Tiptronic Coupe came with H&R lowering springs and I am looking to switch back to stock suspension as its my daily driver and I have to deal with NJ roads. There are plenty of used springs out there but unfortunately the only ones I have found are off of 6-speeds. As there are different part numbers for the Tiptronic vs. 6 speed rear springs I assume there is a difference in spring rates to deal with the weight of the Tiptronic. Does anyone know what the difference is? Would using 6 speed rear springs cause an issue? I believe the latest part #'s are: Tiptronic Rear Springs: 996.333.531.47 (2002-2005 M 249 Coupe) 6-Speed Rear Springs: 996.333.531.46 (2002-2005 M 480 Coupe) Thanks
