  1. Thanks Loren! Ugggg, The dealer that I use and trust is some 230 miles away--so it looks like i will need to plan a trip soon. I may check and see if any of the local import shops has that PIWIS tester... I checked it again today and the selections go from "LIMITS" to "INFO" to "OIL" to "CHRONO" to "SET"--TPC used to be just after "CHRONO" I wonder if disconnecting the battery will make "TPC" reappear??
  2. Hello, Seems like I remember seeing the TPC system (in Bars or PSI's) on the dash when I bought my car a year ago or so. But I got a flat due to a pothole, bending the lip of the wheel and the TPC never came up on the dash!! Played around with the control stalk on the left side of the wheel to see if I could call up "TPC" and to my surprise, it seems to be missing from the menu (either that or I have nooo idea what I am doing). The only selections I see are "Limit, Oil, and settings" Is there something else that I need to do to turn on the system again (the battery was disconnected one time since I bought the car). HELP!!
  3. Not related to replacing the PCM, but I have a 2006 997 w/sport chrono (love it) and the one gotcha that I experience when disconnecting the car's battery is that in each case--PSM and PASM crash (usually my battery was disconnected for about an hour). The first time I almost had a coronary, but noted that after i drive the car about 20mph for a few feet all comes back normally. Maybe my car is just possessed...
