The Turbo was replaced because there we engine oil leaking through it.
The Turbo was replaced because there we engine oil leaking through it.
I am not sure whether the fault code existed before i replaced the turbo. The thing is that the fault code cannot be erased. The turbo is working fine, had tested it on high speed. My concern was that the fault code cannot be erased. Just worried that there will be side effect.

Anyone can help me with this fault code? P1248 Basic Boost Pressure Adaptation

Hi All,
I have just replaced my Left side Turbocharger (Cyl 5-8) on my 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. The CEL came on after i replaced it. I put it through a tester and the fault code was 'P1248 Basic Boost Pressure'. I have checked the parts that i dismantled to replace the Turbocharger, all the parts are assembled properly. Does anyone knows what the fault code meant?

How many mounts does it have? I need the mount that hold it on top.
Thanks,

Wow!!! I nearly fall off my chair! Is it because it is PCCB?

Same notes apply for your options.
Loren,
Thanks for the prompt reply! Do you have any clue of the cost of the front and rear brake disc, pads and warning contact?
-
Your car is a GT3 RS (according to the VIN) with PCCB brakes?
Choose the parts with M450 (PCCB) and M004 (RS Street) as your car has those options.
The pdf file helps a lot.
Do you also have info on the front brake system?

:welcome:
You only have 16 units in your VIN - a valid VIN is 17 units.
Please also tell us model and year.
Oops! I missed out the 1 number. The corrected VIN is WP0ZZZ99Z4S691264. It is a 2004 GT3.
Thanks Loren.

Chasis warning Light
in 9PA, 9PA1 (Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Turbo S)
Posted
Hi All,
I have a 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS. The chasis warning light came on. Send it to a Porsche specialist, the fault code was FA valve block. So, i changed the valve block. The warning light went off for a while but the warning light came back recently. Spoke to the Porsche specialist again, he told me it could be the PDCC control unit fault. I bought the control unit and try to fix the problem myself. I am trying to locate the control unit in the car. Does anyone know where is the PDCC control unit located?
Rgds,
Jon
