Thanks for the photo. Just wondering if factory installed PSE has anything different about the tips.

I'm new to 996's (have an '86 Carrera now), and I was just wondering if there is an easy way to tell from the exhaust tips whether a car MAY be equipped with PSE, or whether PSE can be ruled out. Sometimes ads have photos aplenty but limited decriptions. I realize that with aftermarket systems there is no sure thing, but I thought I'd save time in my inquiries, if maybe I can tell from a phote that PSE is NOT present. When I started looking, I thought quad tips were a dead giveaway. But I've seen ads that say PSE-equipped, but have just the two ovals. Hard to tell, but maybe they are bigger diameter? Were they different for different years? I'd probaby do best by just finding a good local car, and adding this option on (I see a wealth of info on this in this site), but it would be nice if it was already there. Thanks.
