  1. Yes, they are LED lights. Are those an issue with the Cayenne. Also, can you expand on towing in manual mode?
  2. Finally had the chance to tow the boat this past weekend. I have an 06 Cayenne new to me and it towed like a dream. Much better than my Father in Laws F150. As I was towing, the check trailer lights came on. I pulled over and all the lights were working properly. I double checked my connections and everything seemed to be in place. The check engine light continued to pop up and kept chiming. Anyone experience this before? If so, please let me know what I need to do to correct this issue. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
  3. To the left of the hitch receiver and up a bit you should see a blank plate a few inches square held in by a few screws. If the hitch is factory installed then that harness should be there, it just needs the connector attached. If your hitch is after-market then that's another story. Thank you for the feedback. I did just that today and purchased the connectors from my local dealer. Total cost for the 2 connectors was $65. Pretty easy project but I had a stripped screw so it took some convincing and brut force to take the screws out. Once everything was connected, I turned the car on and it had the ! light on my dash along with all my interior lights.. I turned the car off and turned on again and everything turned off including the ! light.
  4. I recently purchased an 06 and so far I am thrilled with the Cayenne. I will be doing some light towing with my truck and to my surprise, there was no wiring harness next to the hitch. A few questions for you guys: Is this something I can do myself or should I take it in to the dealership? If it's something I can do myself, are there any aftermarket products? Any tips on installation would be appreciated.
