  2. Bit late for an answer I know but, there is only 1 993 carpet, it is called "black" but is clearly dark grey I just fitted one of there custom jobs in midnight blue; http://www.type911shop.co.uk/shop/article_5307/993-Front-Boot-Carpet.html?shop_param=cid%3D644%26aid%3D5307%26
  3. Part number 99660641000 seems to be the original number and still valid, can you expand on your comment? TIA
  4. Hi, temp dial on dash reads normal ie; water temp about 70 degrees ©, never goes over 80 degrees even with the fuse pulled Outside temp reads 4 degrees ©
  5. 04 Cayenne S, engine was stone cold, but engine cooling fan stayed on after ignitionn switched off, stayed on long enough to drain the battery, pulled fuse 1 and it went off What brings the fan on/off? Is it just the senors located in the "distrubtor coling tube"? 99660641000 TIA
  6. Could be this 98661208101 seems to have 2 spades one end and one connector plug the other end, only £7.37 so no big deal if its wrong! :P
  7. I had the same problem, it turned out to be a sensor on the rear suspension (controls headlight level at speed) OPC had the car for 4 days before they fixed it mind!
  8. On a 3.2 Carrera you will have loads of holes.................
  9. 1997 17" were 8.5" with a 50ET 993 rears at 17" could have a 70ET or a 55ET depending on the year Best see what is stamped on the rear of each wheel
  10. And what about the dozen holes in the rear lid? Best bet is to swap the whole thing for a complete lid with grille
  11. The whole airbag unit come off the wheel, you cant take the airbag apart though!! If you are going to do it, good luck, but I would do it in situ, very carefully............... B)
  12. I dont think the original crest has any fixing on the back, it is just glued on at the factory I would cut the pin off the aftermarket one and glue it on
  13. Maybe cheaper to source from the UK (under $300 anyhow)
  14. The standard ones are stuck on, the aftermarket silver one you have is for a 356 hence the single pin on the back If you can get the standard one off you would need to cut the pin off the back of your silver version and glue in on The standard one would hurt as much as the aftermarket version if it hit you when the bag went off!
  15. Yes, bit fiddley but just pull the strap and the bottom section should move forward a few inches and then you can pull it upwards, if you try and just pull it upwards without it going foward it will only get to the 45 degree postion
