  1. Thanks for the reply Richard. The reason for my question is that I have a 1970 911T which is RHD (I am in Australia). Before I purchased the car I traced it's origin back through Porsche and they told me that, according to their records, it was an Australian delivered car. I have just had the car at my mechanic and when he was looking around the pedal cluster he said that instead of the normal spot welds in the area there were MIG welds and he asked me whether the car had been converted to RHD - he said everything was neat and well constructed but was wondering himself as to whether the factory used to do them this way back in the early 70s regards, Matt
  2. Hi - does anyone know if the Porsche factory ever converted original LHD bodies to RHD for the export market in 1970? Given that 911 cars in 1970 would have predominantly been for the LHD market, is it possible that RHD cars were converted from the higher volume LHD production? thanks
