  1. Hi I have exactly the same problem I get no more then 20 mpg driving carefully This has been going on over 5 months I had rough running, changed the MAF sensor which cured the rough running, then someone sugested it may be faulty so I changed it again Then it failed an emmisions test so I changed the Lambda Sensors. It passed. I have had it read by a Porsche agent and there are no codes I am at a loss as to what to do next Dave

  4. Not being rude I was never talking about the box under the seat, you did not read my post properly I clearly said the alarm in the front, under the hood, the red one with the siren I will get a second hand one and plug it in Thanks
  5. Well I am not, please read my post correctly The Siren -the red one -under the front hood - sealed and certainly very dry it goes off on its own and does not stop even with the fob pressed, I have to take it off and wrap it in a blanket until it stops Is it plug and play to replace it

  7. Thanks You are talking about the red Siren in the front hood compartment aren't you ? No I have not opened it yet but I will If I get a second hand one does it need to be programed to the car or just fit it and work Thanks

  9. 1997 Boxster 2.5 Auto - right hand drive I recently had a water leak inside the car which I have fixed Trying to find it I played a hose onto the windscreen The alarm got very wet I locked the car and at 2 in the morning it kept going off I removed it and put it in the garage I have dried it out at home but when I fitted it today it just keeps going off Will this re set or is it faulty If I get another one is it 'plug and play' or do I need diagnostec equipment to re set it Thanks Dave

  14. Hi Very interesting I have the OBC but no Cruise Control My turn indicator is broken so I need to get a new one Can I buy the 4 stalk switch and add the Cruise Controll to my 1998 Boxster How do I do it please Dave
  15. Hi I have a 1998 Boxster and I need to change the indicator switch. I guess I have to remove the steering wheel. How do I do this and is the airbag a problem Also is the indicator and wiper switch one unit I also have the computer switch, is this seperate or part of the indicator / washer switch I am in the UK and the car is RHD Thanks Dave
