  1. My 1980 SC (87k mi) was born with headlight switch 911.613.029.01 DOT. Porsche's current replacement for this is 911.613.029.03 DOT. The replacement has different terminal #s than the original, and an additional terminal. I am looking for guidance in connecting the old wires to the new switch. Many terminal #s are the same, however there are variations. Terminal #30 has two spades on both switches; the original switch has three wires connected to the two spades (one is piggybacked). The three wires are (1) red, (2) pink, and (3) light red with white stripe (piggybacked). The new switch's additional terminal #58 (not 58A, 58R, or 58L) between #30 and #56, prevents piggybacking the light red with white stripe wire to the #30 terminal as it was on the OE #30 terminal. I have no idea what wire attaches to the new switch's #58 terminal, unless Porsche decided to give the piggybacked light red with white stripe wire its own connection. Additionally, the original switch's terminal "K" is replaced by terminal "N" on the new switch. I suspect this is old news to many of you, and would appreciate your guidance in bringing me up to date. Thank you.
