  1. Porsche Certified Pre-Owned You can download the brochure here Thanks everyone for their reply. So what do you think is a fair price for a 02 Coupe with 56k miles, lightly optioned? Cosmetics in pretty nice condition, no accidents, verifiable service history, 60k service done and CPO from the dealer (2 yrs)? I am thinkning $29-30, am I high? $32K is too high for an 02 with that Mileage. Even with the CPO. Shoot for $29K. I just bought, through a private sale, a highly optioned 2003 C2 coupe in flawless condition with less than 36K miles on it and all past records for $32K. It did not, however, come with a CPO. The entire IMS (not just the seal) on this car was replaced under warranty in 2006. I am trying to decide if I should get a CPO, as it is still possible to do so through a regional PCNA dealer. I choose the 03 Targa with 30k miles. I took delivery last Monday. I bought it from my local indipendent shop with a 60 day warranty. They have done work on my Benz and previous 911 so i trust them. They did the 30k service on the car and said it's sound. So far it runs like a champ and i am a happy guy. I would say if you can get a warranty great but don't make that the deciding factor on a car, if it feels like the right car, go for it and enjoy
  2. #1 sold to someone else. #2 Drove again on Sunday and the clutch operation felt very stiff and hard to engage. Also noticed a small oil drip under the car. Then looked at the floor where its parked, sure enough many new and old spots. I passed on that one. #3 Going to make an offer on the car today (in 3 hours). Will post when i find out. We are $500 away from a deal. I need to speak with the wife but I think I am going to pull the trigger.

  4. Hi All, I am trying to decide on which car to purchase and here are my options 1. 2002 Targa, 60k miles, 2 owner care, purchase through dealer with CPO coverage. Nicely optioned $30,000. 2. 2002 Targa, 40k miles, private party sale, 2 owner car (present owner 5 years), all service records, agreed to allow a PPI. Nicely optioned and in great shape. $29,000. 3. 2003 Traga, 30k miles, independent dealer (have taken my other cars to them and trust them) 1 owner car, fully serviced and 30 day warranty. Nicely optioned and really like the color. $32,000. Prices are bottom line firm. So my dilemma is which car should I go with? Thanks
  5. They are asking $32,000 with the CPO. I think they are high considering I just found an 03 Targa 34k miles for $32,500.

  7. It was a late 02 car and there is about 4 weeks left for them to do it. Thanks for the infoon price.
  8. Hi Folk, New to the forum and I think I found an 02 996 I am going to buy. Local car, sold by the dealer and just traded in. It has 56k miles and the dealer is willing to do the 60k service and CPO the car. They orginally said the CPO is not included in inital internet price ($30,500) and they are going to get me a revised price this afternoon. So I was wondering if the CPO is worth it and what is a fair price for the CPO warranty? I really like the idea of the warranty.
