  1. I have a Dension unit and an XM Skydock that work fine, but they don't work well together. (The iphone can't be in the Skydock when BT is used.) I use an ipod touch in the Skydock now. Also, you need to plug the Skydock into the power port in a way that it won't interfere with shifting. I like the fact that I can revert to a stock setup easily and install in a new car when I change. Overall I'm happy with the setup.
  2. Did you try flashing the firmware again? I had a similar experience, but made a second attempt to update and it worked fine. It's worth a try, nothing to lose.
  3. You might have better luck posting in the "911, 912 (1965-1989) Series" forum.
  4. What are you selling? Do you know if my car has the harness installed? Is it just plug/play?

  5. I hope this isn't considered hijacking this thread, but I happen to have one of these I want to sell. It's just the module, no wiring. It's a Harman Becker model BE6667 phone module. I bought it on Ebay about six months ago, but never installed it. I was told it was fully functional when pulled from a 997. I'd like to sell it for what I paid - $275.00. If anyone is interested or wants more info, let me know. Thanks Ben
  6. I've had them since 1982 I think, so that's somewhere between 9 and 12 cars. Some of them overlapped, but I may have shifted them around a few times. I'm hoping they'll stick on this one for a long time.
  7. Thanks for the advice. That was my suspicion, but I couldn't tell. I'll look into those units, but I don't think I would mind getting a separate line either. Hmmm, something to think about. Yes it is the forest green with green leather. I'm loving it and looking forward to using the forum! :D
  8. I finally took the leap and bought my first Porsche, an '07 Carrera 4S. I'm trying to sort things out without the manuals (working on getting an ebay set). My question is how can I tell if I have the phone module installed? When I put my GSM SIM card (iphone) in the tray and push the phone button, I get the message "Internal telephone not available." Does that mean there is no phone module or it's not programmed? I'd appreciate any help I can get. I love the car, but I would love to have a working phone too. Thanks.
