  1. Out of curiosity what did the Vipers dyne at? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A stock 96-98 will reliably dyno at 410 rwhp, add exhaust it bumps to about 430 rwhp, adding roller rockers (1.7 ratio) gets about 450-465 rwhp. 2000-2002 (only change is cam overlap) is about same, perhaps 5 hp less. The new 2004 SRT-10 was impressive, it hit 445rwhp bone stock. Understand, these card are 3400 lbs - but, its does take patience, judgement, and calm nerves to get one of these around mosport. Just FYI (3.6l vs 8l)!
  2. Well - it started off as a benign day - just happened to join a group of fellow Viper owners for dyno day... after 10 vipers, well we saved the my GT3 (2005) with just 1700kms (just properly run in) for last ...drum roll... 348 at the wheels. Not sure what the agreed drivertrain loss should be, but more than 32. Let's just say that as the motor spooled up, the big displacement heads were shocked.
  3. <_< All - I take delivery next week on an '05. My first 05 event is at Mosport (I have decent time there on an heretical US-made car) and so know that is is unlikely the stock Pads will hold up. Whats the skinny on Pad choices with the Iron rotors. I plan on keeping the car completely stock except pads - ( ie my money is brakes and tires and gas for seat time) Any thoughts would be great. FYI - The event I do is fully open..ie I get 7 hours on track - no sessions or breaks except fuel. Thanks, 2005 GT3 2000 Viper GTS
