  2. Good Morning All Just recently purchased my dream car from a private party,05 Carrera Coupe 02/05. Car has 16,000mls.My last Porsche was a 1984 Carrera Coupe.Boy what a difference. I'm mechanically inclinded, having to work on English cars, growing up in the uk. I would like to do my own work ie servicing etc. Unfortunatly I here alot about this year,I.M.S failure and so.I've been advised that at some time I will need to replace the engine, arround 30k miles or so? Is there anyone out there that has high mieage with no problems.Or should I not worry and enjoy the car,I would like to give it some welli [stick] once in a while. Would very much appreciate some feedback. David
