  1. My 03 C2 does the same thing but it only shows the oil level low when the motor is cold. once it is warm it shows it full.
  2. I have replaced a relay with both methods. Once taking the seat completely out of the car, and another by just unbolting the four bolts that hold the seat rails down and then leaning the seat bottom back, supporting it at the front with a block of wood. If you do take the seat out, be careful not to scratch the door sill with the bottoms of the seat rail brackets. Regards, Maurice. Thanks guys! I will give this a try on my day off this week. My passenger heated seat works but the driver side went out so hopefully its just the relay. I check the switch and its working fine.
  3. Where is the relay located under the seat? I looked under my drivers seat and it didnt stand out to me. Do you have to take the seat out of the car? My car is a 03 996 C2.
  4. Yeah I think its sitting up a little high, it looks like mine is higher then yours for some reason. They are 235/35/19 in the front and 295/30/19 in the rear and my wheels are also 11" wide in the rear and they do stick outside the fender just a hair. If I were to do it again I think I would go with a 10" rim in the rear but I do plan on getting a Turbo soon so I will just switch these wheels to it when I get it and they should fit perfect :D
  5. Finally got my new rims and tires installed. I will get some better pics posted soon. What do you think? :D
  6. I like a little gap in the wheel well. I think yours sits perfect! Do you have a picture of the side of your car where you can see both front and rear? My C2 is also black but I am putting on black wheels with a polished lip.
  7. I think i am going to go with a 295/30/19 rear tire. Now i'm just trying to find a good deal on tires. :D Thanks for all your help guys!!!
  8. WoW those look great! is your car lowered at all? how wide are your rear rims?
  9. I had checked tirerack but they are saying the same tire sizes for the 19" rims but they dont say how wide of a rims those tires will fit. How wide of a tire can I do without sticking outside of the fender?
  10. I am looking at buying some 19" rims for my 2003 C2 but am not sure of what size tire to get. The rims are 19x8.5 and 19 X 11. I do not want the rear wheel sticking out too far from the rear wheel well. The guy i'm getting the wheels from says that the 11" wide rim will fit with no problems is he right? He also suggested tires sizes of 235/35/19 for the front and 275/30/19 for the rear. Is a 275mm tire wide enough for the rim? Please help the new guy out haha :D
  11. Well I already bought from Suncoast. Now the fun begins! I have never worked on a Porsche before haha.
  12. Sounds like I am going with Suncoast. I have looked at the install instructions and i'm decent at working on cars and have done several window motors but never a regulator and I have never worked on a Porsche. Is there any tips you guys can help me with? Any special tools I need to make it easier? Thanks!!!
  13. I just bought a 996 and now it needs both window regulators replaced. I have been searching different sites and there is a big difference in prices. Is oem the way to go or are the others ok? I'm new to this site and have searched but cant find anything on this site about what brand to go with. Here are some of the prices I have found: Pelican - $232.75 each Suncoast - $189.40 each ebay - $120 to $261 each
