  1. I just did my ignition surround and it turned out great, just takes time and patients.. Mike That's crap... Many people have done it with great results. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  2. Hey all I have a quick question... I just got a new boxster and love it to death, but I am very confused about the top deployment. I keep reading that you have to chop the window in order for it to go down properly? I don't get this. I lowered and raised the roof without any of this "chop" and all seems fine. Why is it that everybody says you have to get out of your car and chop the window?? To me this is completely redicoulous. What happes if you just open and close the roof without doing the chop? I guess I need someone to explain this to me :) eheheh Thanks Mike
  3. I second that, as a scientist you are already biased by calling a failure form. You will get people with faliures to vent by filling out the form, maybe even in duplicate and you will probably get >50% failure rate, which is bogus. Not to sound to critical, its a great idea you have. Why not rename the form to something neutral, take it to the local porsche dealerships and have them give it out to boxster owners. This way over a year you can get people coming for maintenance and such and get semi-accurate results, but still slightly biased as the chance of someone going to the dealership for a problem is greater then someone without any problems :), but it would be significantly more unbiased then an internet based survery. Mike
