  6. First, is this a dealer? Are they using PIWIS or PST2 to reprogram? Do you trust them? To reset, put the battery in reverse polarity for 10 seconds, then install correctly. these guys are not the dealers they are Houe of Cars - http://www.houseofcarsgroup.com/shop/porsc..._specialist.php When it comes to trust.. i guess you really cant trust most of the auto garages back here... Will try the reset and revert
  7. i dont really know.. theyve tried reprogramming it and it apparently gives them an error which is why they are reccomending replacement. I tried chanign the battery adn there was no change. how can you reset it though?

  9. Newbie alert... hey guys.. i seem to have a situation with my 2004 Turbo Cab. The remote key stopped working suddenly and the agency claims that the FOB is damaged and needs replcaement. The cost for a new one is around $380 but i also see new ones one the ebay for less than half that cost. The agency claims that the key needs to match your chassis numebr to work and so a regualr one wont do... is thsi true? ...or cani just go ahead and get one off ebay and have it programmed?
