  1. Thanks, Sunnyside. My car didn't have Porsche coolant in it, so I decided to drain the hole system. I ordered a Uview tool to put new coolant back in (I'm going to start with all distilled water to convince myself that I can do it ... otherwise, I'll just ask a shop to flush with coolant). The hoses seem to be in pretty good shape (nice and pliable, no cracks). So I'll just go ahead and replace the o-rings. Re "safety-wire" - I have read that replacement radiators have a slightly different-sized breather hose input and members of 6speed recommend adding protection. Not sure how to go about doing it, though. Thanks.
  2. Does anyone have a bleed procedure that does not involve vacuum system and works? Are there non-Porsche branded coolants that are a quality substitute? Should I replace the upper and lower hoses when replacing the radiator? How do I "safety wire" the house clips?
  3. Danyol, Can you elaborate? I bought my 2003 Turbo last April and it came with 997 wheels with "incorrect" tire sizes - i.e. 235-30-19 fronts and 305-30-19 rears. Michelin PS2s up front and Hankook Ventus V12s in the rear. Other than an alignment issue that caused severe wear on the rear outside edges, I didn't have any PSM problems. When I corded the Hankook, I decided that it was time to fix my "incorrect" tire size issue, so I went with the recommended 315-25-19 tire in the rear to match the diameter of the 235-30-19. At the same time, I corrected my toe problem and slight driver's side rear camber problem. Immediately, I got the same behavior as described in this thread. PSM interference with long sweeping on/off ramps at modest speed. I will definitely check the speed sensors, but I'm currently concerned about my whole wheel tire package. Suggestions?
