  1. I paid and got a download link within moments yesterday June 13, 2009. Huge amount of content. Exactly what I wanted and had been looking for. I am waiting to see the outcome of this thread, i.e., are things ordered delivered, before I purchasing anything.
  2. Also found more tools at this link: http://www.toolss.com/wbstore/main.asp?act...0TOOLS&bl=9
  3. Can you tell me what tool or the size of the Torx is required to remove the large and small screws that hold the rotors in place. On the front rotor there is a large Torx screw (part number: 910 282 01 which I am told is a T-50. That same T-50 Torx screw is on the rear rotor. Also on the rear rotor is a smaller screw (part number: 910 380 01) which looks like a 12 point Torx but I am not sure. And can you tell me the torque values (one more time for both of these screws). Thanks.
  4. I live in Germany and have driven the Cayenne Turbo, S and Touareg V8. The experience and order of preference is: 1. Cayenne Turbo 2. Cayenne S and 3. Touareg V8. Having said that rememeber that here in the home of both of these fantastic automobiles the price difference is not that large. Pricing for the base models is as follows: Cayenne Turbo (450 HP) = 101,913 EURO vs. Touareg W12 (450 HP) =97,500EURO. Cayenne S (340 HP) = 63,285 EURO vs. Touareg V8 (310 HP) = 60,500 EURO. When you start loading these up with goodies the difference remains not that great. In the USA the price difference is much larger and proving to be a deciding factor for many new to this arena. So, it boils down to loyalty to the marque and the cost of ownership for many people. As I mentioned in the RENNLIST forum, this comes down to a decision making process much like that of buying a new motorcycle - I ride Harley-Davidson bikes and always will. Are the other bikes good, yes they are. But they are not a Harley. I will order a 2006 Cayenne Turbo and that will be the SUV for me (I want the marque and everything that goes with it). So I think one has to look at this from a different perspective. For example: is the Touareg a good automobile? By all means. But the Cayenne is a Porsche. Good luck. JW3
  5. Can someone tell me what the strange little face means on the original post?
  6. I read some place that the navigation system and the music CD system cannot be used at the same time. Now that the navigation system is DVD driven and one can have the 6 pack CD system is that still true? Can the NAVI work while music is playing from a CD (or SAT radio for that matter)? I will be ordering my 2006 CTT soon and was wondering if the 6 CD Changer is worth ordering. Any comments on the 6 pack CD player? Thanks for your help. JW3 :help:
