  1. I have stainless on my 99 and they still look brand new. Just went out and looked and I don't see any scratches...
  2. It sounds just like the handbrake switch. Now my 99 did the same thing in January and I did the quickly pull and release the handbrake 12-15 times until the light comes on and it worked. I had to do it for about a week, but ever since then it's worked on the first pull every time. And I probably drop and raise the top twice a day. I'm guess something might've shifted back into place on mine...
  3. It's definately the spoiler light. And it is 100% normal.
  4. It sounds like your parking brake switch. It's the little switch that turns on the dash light when you engage the parking brake. Usually if it's just starting to happen, you can quickly engage and release the parking brake about 10-15 times until the light comes on. I had it happen with mine about 4 months ago and was going to get it replaced, but after doing the "fix" a handful of times, it's back to working every single time I pull the brake. And I probably raise or lower the roof 2-3 times a day.
