    hey! i won this eBay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT thinking it was the Misha GT2 wing, however, i contacted the seller and it apparently is not. i've been watching this auction for a while now, the part has been relisted 3 times and when he finally made it a no reserve auction, i bid on it. i won the auction and here is my problem, i was away and the freaking guy added this to the descrption: *Original OEM C4S Decklid core exchange IS REQUIRED complete with deflector, $700 extra if you do not wish to exchange* In the previous auction, he did not say that and he even told me that the auction includes both new decklid and blade. and he wants $1200 to paint it. (since the starting price for the last auction was $1000, i thought it was additional 200 to paint it and i thought it was optional) any advise? he tells me I have to get it painted by him and the $1200 is non negotiable. should i get it? any advise would be great! thanks!

    i had my 2004 C4S also certified, they told me they are checked everything, 3 weeks later i started hearing a thump and when i had it checked out, it was a loose control arm. i think the problem is sales people try to sell you stuff, you can't quote the salesperson if something goes wrong.. he probably says what you want to hear just to sell it to you...

    i just got a carbon fiber oem steering wheel from ebay, can anybody help me with install instructions? is it possible to intsall it myself? or do i have to get the dealer to install it? thanks for the help! regards, jason

ContiWinter Contact TS V790V 1500 miles --------------------------------------------------- Front :(2) 7 x 17 - 205/50 R 17 Wheel Part # : 986.362.124.00 ----------------------------------------------------- Rear : (2) 8.5 x 17 - 225/45 R 17 Wheel Part # : 986.362.126.05 will these fit on my 2004 C4S? i currently have the 18" oem sport techno rims and i think there are factory spacers on the car. anybody used these snow tires before? any advise would be appreciated! thanks!

    i have a 2004 c4s and i only ground out going up peoples driveways and mall entrances, i've never had a problem driving in NYC or speedbumps. the c4s is an awsome car, you'll love it!

    I ran Pirellis for 4 winters and they tend to get very NOISY. Last winter I switched to Blizzaks. My impressions. The Blizzaks go better, stop better and produce 1/3 of the road noise. I a an article out of Christophorous that does an annual review of winter tires. The last copy I have is 2003. They recommend two combinations: 7J x 17 ET 50 Front 9J x 17 ET 55 Rear 8J x 18 ET 50 Front 10J x 18 ET 65 Rear I have the whole write-up if you want it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> can you e-mail it to me? thanks jason.h.lu@gmail.com

    i would go with the car with 4k 4k in a porsche comes up pretty fast, i bought my car with only 170ish miles on it and after 2 months i already have 7k wanna give us some more details on the two cars?

    quick question. i just realized my rear tire on my 04 C4s had a leak so i had the local gas station take a look at it (8PM, porsche dealership wasn't open) anyways, the guy hand torqued the rear wheel after we found the leak and everything back onto the car. is that okay? like, to remove the wheel we used the flat tire equipment from the car. after the guy said the lugs were tightened, i personally checked all the lugs again. will my wheel fall off when i drive to work tomorrow? or should i call road side assistance and have them come torque the wheels?

    wow, never knew you could also install the switch for the PSE (dealer said that if they installed it for me, they would not be able to install the switch). how much did the entire project cost you?

    what did you end up choosing? i have a 2004 c4s and i have to switch to winter/snow tires soon.

    my experience is stay away from OEM since they don't usually hold enough water (melted snow). the weathertech ones are nice but do need to be trimmed. so if there will be snow, go with the weathertech ones. or if it's just rain, go with the oem ones.

    i have a similar problem with my 2004 C4s, on a cold start, for the first minute, the engine idles a little rough (slight vibration) but i only have this problem when i park it outside, when it's in a heated garage i have no problems.

    has anybody experienced a problem with the radio knob? you turn it one click and the CD sometimes jump 3 tracks, sometimes 2 tracks, sometimes 0 tracks, sometimes backwards 1 track. is this setting? or do I need to warranty the radio? thanks

    I know that the older style <2003 Litronic lights had an orange cover inside with a clear bulb. is that still true with a 2004? if i put a clear bulb in a 2004 set of litronic lights, will the color come out white or orange?
