  2. really? didn't know rims would make such a difference...
  3. how easy is the GT2 Style Wing to install? Is it something I can do myself in a few hours or do I need the dealer to intsall it? Also, do I need an additional front spoiler for balance out the additional downforce? Are there any drawbacks of having the large rear spoiler? Thanks! And how much did you guys pay for the wing?
  4. a pretty nice trailer park, MBenz S55 and Carrera 4s =)
  5. any recommendations for a spoiler for my 996 4s? could the TT spoiler be put on my car? thanks! here's a pic of my car
  6. i'm so excited! picking up my c4s at 6:00pm after work tomorrow! yea! so any advice for break and how to drive a manual in the city would be great! i know you should rev over 4k rpms and i guess light accerlations. how about warm? etc... any advice would be great! thanks guys jason
  7. i got it down to 75k w/o cert and 76k with certificaiton. i think i am going to purchase the car.
  8. Sorry to bother you guys again, but this decision is killing me. I really like the look of the 996 Carrera 4s and a well-optioned 997 2s is really a bit high for me. I want to stick with the 996 Carrera 4s but I want to know if this car is in good shape or not. Here are the exact specs: 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Price: US$ 82,950 Mileage: 367 Miles Color (Exterior): Seal Grey Metallic Color (Interior): Full Leather - Black Displacement: 3.6 liters Power Output: 320 HP Drive Type: AWD Transmission: Manual VIN: WP0AA29994S621584 Installed Options: 18" SportTechno Wheel Automatic air conditioning BOSE High End Sound Package CD Shelf Center Console Comfort seat L elect.positioning Comfort seat R elect.positioning Cruise Control Heated Seats Instrument Dials in Aluminum Look Litronic Headlights with Washer On Board Computer Porsche Stability Management (PSM) Remote Control Alarm Supple Leather I went to the dealer and checked out the car fax and everything, this is what i was able to find out. The car was purchase from CT dealer at 25miles, guy drove it and traded it back at 125 miles, then it was a demo car at the CT dealer, then my dealer bought it at 315 miles, now the car was 460 miles on it. My question is will I have reliability issues with the car further down the road? I really like the car and I just want to make sure the car won't break down on me. The car is also Porsche certified, so i guess 2 additional years of warranty. Please help! Any advise would help! The price is good, just need to know do I need to be worried about the existing milage! THanks! -Want to be porsche owner in distress.
  9. thanks for all the help guys! i'm going to order my 997 carrera c2 and wanted to know how much i should be expecting off MSRP for an order. my dealer said he will try to do something for me, i just was hoping to see what great deals people have gotten and what is possible to get. Thanks!
  10. hey, do you feel it's strange that a person would trade in a car at 350miles? do you think the previous owner took the break in period seriously? any major problems since you got your 4s? and how much did you get it for?
  11. Hey Guys! I'm having a hard deicison on deciding which of the two to get: 2004 996 Carrera 4S with 350miles, Porsche Certified, and negotiated down to $78k or a 2005-6 997 Carrera S brand new (but I have to order it), probably around $86k. Any advice? How do the 2 cars compare? I need it for a daily drive to work in New York City. Won't be driving too much over the limit since of traffic and the police =) Thanks! -Jason
