  1. Recently, serpentine belt failed and broke off a bolt and Pulley. I got lucky, got the bolt out with reverse drill bits. Question: Is the bolt I'm replacing need to be from Porsche. Can I use a common bolt from auto parts store, or only order directly form Porsche? I believe its :Item: HEX-HEAD BOLT 8X60 ( part number 900 378 15901 )
  2. Its something to do with the mounting of the K and N... I did not place the stock box back, I really like the sound... I just wondered if there was an obvious fix.
  3. Recently installed K&N Cold air intake, I'm noticing a vibration noise that I did not hear before.... the kit is isolated from metal surfaces by rubber, so I'm stuck... Any suggestions?
  4. Your coils are cracked, you spilled some water/coolant over when refilling, and this is probably the case. I replaced all 6 coils and plugs and the codes cleared.
  5. RE: Sudden Misfire, I had the same situation, replaced the reservoir then Cel's misfire codes came up. What happened to mine, I spilled over some water/coolant and it founds some cracks in the coils, which were original. replaced coils and plugs at the dealer, solved problem.

  6. I was successful in replacing the buttons on the face plate, but the last two buttons I'd like some direction: 1. Power On/off button 2. CD eject button Any suggestions how to replace these? The aren't mounted on the faceplate. Thanks.
  7. '99 996 changed coolant tank, thanks to the diy's and it went well. I took it for a drive, check engine light is on continuous. Could this be due to not properly bleeding the tank, or a sensor error? Not sure if I bumped one while removing the tank. Any suggestions?
