  1. i replaced my flex disk with the ebay one a year ago. nice quality. http://www.ebay.com/itm/300712978896?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649
  2. Hi bro, I have one 997 3.6 for sale , shoot me an offer. I have no idea what one is worth, have not had the time to look, which brings up antoher question, where is a good place to find parts for a 996, I found LA porsche dismantlers and dc auto
  3. i did install the 997 3.6 box into my 2002 996 without any problem, direct fit, plug and play. good luck
  4. I did the same as you. I went to home depot, and bought a few inches of tube, it is just a little bigger than the tube I broke, so I insert the two ends of the broken tubes into this home depot one, plus a little plastic sealant. Done.
  5. if your car is automatic, then the problem should be the TCU. many pre-2003 tiptronic 996 cars have this problem.
  6. congrats!!! you are my hero. you will not need to worry about the IMS or RMS issues. and your engine should be cheaper to maintain as well. may i know how much for the engine and parts for this project? thanks for sharing!!!!!
