  1. This is just short and to the point FYI for others. I had a 2.7 six cylinder motor built by Roy Marks at Motor Meister in Downey, CA for my 914. It was then professionally installed. The car ran well for about 100 miles when it began emitting smoke through the exhaust. At about the same time it started seeping oil from the tail pipe and exhaust system if it sat for three or four days. I made several calls to Roy Marks with out success since his receptionist was very effective at "screening" his calls. I could only get her to "take a message and he will call you back". He never did return any of my calls and I finally gave up. I'm not saying his work is bad or poor quality. What I am saying is this is not how you treat a customer but an example of poor customer relations.
