  1. Howdy All No one has mentioned altitude. I can guarentee you that from 6300' to 9100', your temperature guage is going to be above 180. This is especially true if the AC is on. Bernie 0716102148 MST

I guess I don't know how this web site works. I wanted to answer you in detail but the site limits me as to the number of characters. With all of extranious stuff on this site, you would think I could answer you in a little detail. However, thanks for your response..

  3. Just read your reply to the guy who mentioned a scanning tool. What tool do you recommend, make, model etc. I am having difficulty using this web site so I hope you get this one.

  4. Hey Casper (salinguy)

I just tried sending you an email but not sure it went through. I'm a new mwember and I've got to tell you,I am really having trouble with this web site. I gave Loren my comments. It really needs to be simplified etc. Anyway, I neglected to ask you how you "cleared" the Check Engine light? Tnx.

  5. Need Radio Code for 99 Carrera 4 Becker 1 Type 4362 S/N 1500 1231 24/99
  6. I have a 1999 Carrera 4, six speed. At times, I lose the accelerator input but the engine still idles at about 950 rpm. This seems to happen above 8000'. Turning the ignition off and then back on restores the accelerator input. No Check Engine light on. I had to turn the ignition off and back on about six times in order to get up the mountain. I reside at 9150'. Thanks. Bernie 0709101836 MST
