  1. Start at the rear most portion of the A-pillar and firmly pull it straight out. The trim has metal clips. Andrew
  2. Thanks for the input. I just spoke with my P-car specialist and he said if I get the front on jack stands, I'll be able to reach the emergency release cable but it will most likely break as they're really a one use kinda thing. I actually had to replace the last one because someone had used it before. He also had another idea. Since I can open the driver door, he said to get in the car, close all of the doors and hit the door unlock button on the dash. I'll try this at lunch. Andrew
  3. I locked my only key in the trunk. I unlocked the car when I opened the trunk but it locked automatically after x number of seconds since I didn't open the doors. I am able to open the driver door because I've got the door apart trying to figure out why none the electrical functions work in the door. I can pull the trunk switch but it doesn't work since the car thinks the doors are locked. Any ideas? Will the emergency hood release in the fuse panel work? Can the dealer program a new key without having the car? Thanks Andrew Www.universalrallly.com
  4. I just bought a factory aero bumper from Sunset, it was $750 or so. Just FYI...
  5. Thanks Paul! I hope the 996 is similar to my 997. Thanks again. Andrew
  6. Does anyone have experience removing the entire dash?
  7. I replaced the motor assembly in the door and still nothing. The car was in a front collision, is there anything upfront that would be impacting the door functions? Andrew
  8. I have the exact same problem, none of the switches on the driver door work (widow or power mirror). To clarify, you removed the door panel and just pressed the main connector into the control module to ensure a positive connection and that solved it? Andrew
