  3. Ok thanks for all of your help. I am going next Sat. to get my codes read and if it is the acm than its off to the dealership for me. Wish me luck.
  4. So I did some checking and I think my alarm control module is fried. I can’t get my alarm to beep at all and also my interior lights will not come on without the key in. When I came home today I decided to check the fuse in the alarm control module, it was good. So then I pulled the acm and when I opened it I found the board with lots of corrosion and rust. I tried to clean it knowing it was a long shot and needless to say it didn’t work. So I’m going to try to find someone to check the codes for me just to make sure it is the acm. If it is a bad acm when I replace it will I need to take it to Porsche to get it programmed?

  7. Hello I have an 02 996 c4. So my door locks will not work at all using the lock switch inside the car. When I use the key fob you hear the door locks lock then unlock. Now I checked the doors, hood, etc. to make sure they are closed. The one thing im not sure about is the fuel door lock actuatior. When i use the key fob like i said i can hear the door lock then unlock but when i tryed this checking the fuel door i couldnt get it to do anything. Is the fuel door lock actuator my problem? If it is than can i bypass it somehow just so i can lock my doors untill i get a new one. Thanks
