  1. Hello all, My 2002 C4S (50K) has just had a major service with OPC. They raised a list of issues, but some of these seem a little excessive to me. * Leaks from Front and Top of engine - Reccomend clean off test drive and recheck * Gearbox Sump Gasket leaking - replace. * Cup holder sticking - replace. * Front diff. Seals leaking - investigate. * Handbrake button rattle. - replace. * Coolant leak from nearside Rad. - replace. * Slight leak from rear main and intermediatte seals. * Front brake disks heavily lipped - replace. When quizzed about the issues, I was told that only the rad leak need be attended to soon, the rest were all noticed as a result of the car on the ramp and leaks being spotted, and I got the impression that they weren't that critical!. I was told to keep an eye on the garage floor for leaks. I rarely use the car (once a week) and have done about 6k in the past year, when it is otherwise garaged. Would you suggest I investigate these further, or can they be safely taken with a pinch of salt, considering some of the points raised, such as cupholder sticking and handbrake button rattle!   2. Hi All, Am new to this forum, and come seeking your expert opinions! I recently had my car in with the OPC for a major service. The car has 50k on the clock, I've had it for a year from 45K, and has always been serviced by the same OPC. Since the service its just not felt the same. The Gearbox doesn't feel as sharp as it used to. In auto it seems ok, if not as sharp as it was prior to the service. However, when If I use the steering controls to drop down a gear, and pull away, the gearbox no longer seems to change up before redlining. I could be mistaken but I thought that the when I would drop down a gear before, it would switch to manual, and then allow me to rev higher, but would automatically change up. Today, driving it, it appeared to hold the gear longer, and I saw it going into the red. It seems that the gears are sticking in manual. Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone know at what rpm the gears should be changing up? The car is a 2002 C4S Coupe with Tip. I have some other questions around issues raised at the service, but will post another post for that. Thanks for all your help! nmp
