  1. Hey Mark - I totally agree. Batman would have looked cool in a 911 :-) Gotham, hhmmmm. I'll see what I can do.
  2. Glad you liked the photoshop. I've posted a batman one for you.

    Regards

    Pete

  3. Hi Mark - Here's a batman one:
  4. Im going to leave the chrome alone. Playing in photoshop is fun, but there's no way I'd touch my 911 with chrome in real life....Its a good laugh though.
  5. Swepco is great, but better for the early boxes. But very good stuff. G50's respond better to Synthentic stuff like Mobile1
  6. The engine has to be running and with oil up to temperature when checking oil level. You cannot do it any other way
  7. I emailed a guy called marc at Porsche germany. Got the answer back in a couple of days.... Hi Can you please send me this E mail address so I can determine what month the car I would like to buy is manufactored.I need the month? CD PM Sent.
  8. Thanks Bruce - I'm self taught, but I could do with a little help so I might look him up. Its great fun today, but very time consuming.
  9. I've just started playing with Photoshop. Still learning, but its a great piece of software. I have been playing around with pictures of my 911. Here's one I used. It original was taken with the car up against a wall.
  10. Hi Serpico - Good luck with the fuel cap. You can also have a look here: http://www.stuttgartexchange.com.

    Good luck

    Pete

  11. The item you are talking about is called a "Cap" by Porsche. For an 83 car is part number 411 837 111. Not sure if this is a common part no for all 74-89 cars, but probably is.
  12. I'll send it to you via PM. Not sure if I should post an email address because os spam etc....
  13. I emailed a guy called marc at Porsche germany. Got the answer back in a couple of days....
  14. haha - its easy on photoshop. Not sure Im so brave in real life ;)
  15. Had a play around in Photoshop and thought I'd see what my 911 would like like in Chrome.
  16. one big thing you can do tat doesnt cost much is to have the fuel injectors tested and if necessary calibrated on a fuel rig. Its amazing how they go off spec over time... These are the culprits for a lot of lost bhp....
  17. Give it a good service before doing anything. I would say change the oil, the oil filter and the fuel and fuel filter before attempting to start the engine. You might also want to remove the plugs (disconnect the battery) and turn the engine over by hand to make sure everything is free to rotate.
  18. It worked today. Must have been down when I initially tried it.
  19. Thought you guys might find tis one interesting: Cayenne Test Drive Video Filmed in Muscat, Oman.
  20. The video won't play for me
