  1. I recently removed my driver's side door panel to replace the window regulator. At the top of the door, there are two wires that plug into sockets. In my 2002 Boxster S, one of the plugs is black and the other is white. The white plastic plug broke, leaving half of it in the socket. What was left on the wires fell off, so the wires are now bare. Now, neither window will go up or down using the switches, and neither will drop when I unlatch the top. They do dip when I pull the inside or outside door handle. Does anybody have any idea what that little plastic plug is called so I can order the part? Also, any opinions on whether I should DIY this one or just bite the bullet and take it in. I use a good independent repair shop I like, but enjoy working on the car and would like to save the cash, which I usually do unless I break something. Thanks in advance. Andrew
