  1. I have a '99 996, and recently test drove a Carrera S, and came away with the same impression. I am still very happy with my 996 and did not feel the urge to get the new model at the current time.
  2. I started my '99 996 this morning and the air bag light was on. This will be my third time with this problem. The first two times occured about 2 years ago, due to faulty seat belt sensors. My Porsche dealership fixed it for free, eventhough the car was out of warranty. 1. My question is, what do you think can be the cause the air bag light going on this time? 2. Also, my car is now located in a different area from when I first had the air bag light problem, and from where I recently had my annual service performed by Porsche. Should I expect the local Porsche dealership to fix it for free, if I provide documentation that I once had a problem with the airbag light. Thanks.
