  1. Before posting I searched the forum but was surprised that I didn't find very many posts. I have the pcm 2 audio system. Has anyone replaced the front door Bose speakers with anything other than oem? I have a blown midrange and dred buying a new one from the dealer. What are they anyway? 6.5" @ 2 ohms?
  2. I thought because my car was the Titanium edition they might be different. Also, I see that a number of OEM wheels on eBay that are marked slightly differently: 9JX19H2-ET60 Are these the same?
  3. Image attached. My tires are 19 inch (275 / 45 / 19 to be exact). Also, did this come in only one color?
  4. I am looking for the wheel part number for my 2006 Titanium edition. I presume that they are all the same?? Tom
  5. Well ... I just ordered the Sprint Booster. I'll post as soon as I get it installed and let you know how it works for me.
  6. I did end up going to ROCS for my service work. Rich did a good job. What impressed me so much was that while I was in there a lady came in because the steering was a bit loose on her car. Rich took the time to show her exactly what the problem was, explaining it in a clear and useful way. He definately took the time to make sure she understood exactly what was wrong with the car.
  7. I have a 2006 Titanium Edition in Marine Blue Metallic. I am looking for the color code so that I can have a local paint guy do some touch up work. A little help..... Thanks!
  8. Don, Thanks. This indy is usually pretty good, though a real tire shop near me may do better. I've used a guy in Bellville (R.O.C.S) for my coolant pipe replacement, I think I may try them first for the tire leak. Tom
  9. I have a 06 Titanium S with stock rims and Scorpion tires. I've had the tires for almost two years now, putting 35K miles on them. For the last 6-8 months my front right tire has been slowly loosing air. I fill it up in the summer every 2 weeks or so but I find myself filling it more often in the cold weather (every 3-4 days). My local indy has a dunk tank and says that the rim is bad. I didn't hit anything, it just won't hold the bead seal. He has tried to 'fix' it twice already. Is this common? Any suggestions? Does anyone recommend using the Porsche tire sealer as a long term solution? Thanks!!
  10. Has anyone used ROCS in Bellville NJ? Looking to get my coolant pipes replaced, possibly early next week. They quoted labor (matching another indy I checked) at $820. I am supplying the parts. T
  11. Thanks. I've spent about $2,800 on repairs over the last 6 -8 weeks so I was expecting my problem to be much worse. Turned out to be just a blown cornering bulb on the left side that was preventing either side from working. Fixed today for $12.95 (set of two). Thank goodness for small favors.
  12. thanks for the cost estimate but I am really looking to know which connector gives the biggest problems. I presume it is 'D' but wanted confirmation...
  13. Attached please find a picture of the back of my headlight. A couple of questions, per the picture: A - Is this one of the bolts being refered to as coming loose sometimes? Is the other bolt directly on the other side? B - Has anyone ever broken this connector? I broke mine but ended up using a wire tie to hold the bundle in place. B - What is the part number / cost for this bracket piece? C - Is this connector ever the problem or is it always D? 2006 S Titanium Edition (i.e. V8) Tom
  14. Well I got the car back from the dealer. Considering the previous repair, they picked up the towing cost as well as splitting the labor. Total came out to $400. Although they can't say with 100% certainty that it is fixed, their service manager drove it back and forth from home for almost 2 weeks putting 500 miles on my car. It didn't fail once while he had it. They say that the drain cowl was clogged and that there was a control box / wires that appeared to get wet. Some of the wires were slightly corroded. They cleared the drain and re-taped alll the connections after checking them. It seems to be OK. But only time will tell. All in, this problem has cost me $2,700 :censored: Time to cut my losses and sell???
  15. Well the dealer called today and said that they have checked the battery and grounds. That was one of the first things they checked. They are going to hold onto it and have one of their guys drive it to and from work for a few days. I figured why not, I'm not taking it back until I can feel confident that the problem has been rectified. Any more thoughts / ideas? So sad ... I hate the thought of having to get rid of it because I don't feel confident it won't break down. :(
  16. Well the dealer called me and said that they were finally able to get it to not start. Now they can start 'really' diagnosing the problem. sigh.... And yes Loren, I specifically asked them to check the battery / ground And no, the car doesn't even turn over. The display says press pedal, but of course that doesn't help in my case.
  17. I suppose I am just wondering how my car could have started and ran fine (** below) before the fuse was replaced? Sequence: Clunk while driving, errors. Stopped car would not restart (multiple errors) ** Started car 2 hours later and got home without issues or errors Tried to start again and errors..no start. Towed to dealership ** Started at dealership and drove off flatbed. Didn't immediately start for repair tech. Dealer replaced parts (fuse / controller) Drove home and good for 4 days Dead again - towed to delaer Starts and runs fine at dealer No error codes ???
