  1. bigbuzuki, can you give the reference on where you got the info on the pump operation? I'd like to read more.
  2. Thanks, for the feedback. Weird it doesn't throw the check engine light. The threshold must be larger on these early cars
  3. Dharn55, did you ever fix this? Camshaft position 1 deviation -12.15 Camshaft position 2 deviation -02.45 What did you find?
  4. coleta

    tool

Anybody knows who makes this exact tool and where I can get it? It looks better than most spring compressors I've seen. It's from the DIY for the ROW M030. Thanks
  5. Thanks. How did you trace this? Your headlight started flickering or something?
  6. Congrates. Are you sure you were using the drive link for cam adjustment and not the lift? The solenoid with the crack bracket is for lift, not timing. That's why your values were good.
  7. jr, thanks for the update. just to be clear it was the exhaust not the intake, right?
  8. Congratulations Logray. Can you post the before and after’s for tra/rkats (not sure of your year)? Thanks
  9. Michelin, what do you mean by lift off? Can you discribe it a little more? Thanks
  10. Loren, that 4k rpm figure is an industry standard or is there a Porsche doc on it?
  11. Congratulations sliderr. Do you have the part #'s on the o-rings on the invoice so we can see exactly what was replaced?
  12. Loren, I don't get how you check the resistance of the coils. Terminal 1 is at the coil right? Where's terminal 15 ?
  13. Sunnyside, have you actually seen a oil pump with a crank housing on these trannies? Are they common?
  14. Gunman, what leaf springs are you talking about? Got a pic?
  15. Richard, can you type in the whole address? The link's not working. Thanks
  16. Awesome. Thanks. This DME engineer posted all this info on this site? Or it was someone you knew?
  17. Logray, do you know at what point is the 12v applied to pin 12 during the programing and for how long?
  18. Loren, how did you get the operating range for the offset? Is this just an industry standard?
  19. another silly question:does a turbo ever read a vacuum in the intake?
