If you download them you do not get updates so you will have to repurchase them. I have seen the manuals from VIP and they are incomplete and they do not have the current information or updates past 2000. If you want the current 996 manuals, including the OBDII manual, TSBs, Diagnostic manuals and more email me. I also have the current dealer PET update 194. I have the Porsche 996TT manuals in electronic form. They are clear, clean and completely readable and useable. I also have the OBDII manual, TSBs, and Technical diagnostic manuals. Email me for more information. I have also seen the CDs from workshopUK and they are very poor quality, barely readable, not kept up to date, with his website marked on each page. I don't think they are even worth the time to download...
