  1. I have the "Basic" 987 workshop manuals and I can tell you that the PDF manuals posted so far on the Porsche tech site are incomplete. If you download them you do not get updates so you will have to repurchase them. I can help you get service information on the 987 including complete part numbers, exploded views, and the "Basic " workshop manual...
  2. I have seen the manuals from VIP and they are incomplete and they do not have the current information or updates past 2000. If you want the current 996 manuals, including the OBDII manual, TSBs, Diagnostic manuals and more email me. I also have the current dealer PET update 194. And I am the one that supplied the 964 manuals to Don...
  3. Where did you get the newer style? Do you have a part number?
  4. I have the Porsche 996TT manuals in electronic form. They are clear, clean and completely readable and useable. I also have the OBDII manual, TSBs, and Technical diagnostic manuals. Email me for more information. I have also seen the CDs from workshopUK and they are very poor quality, barely readable, not kept up to date, with his website marked on each page. I don't think they are even worth the time to download...
