  1. Looking through Enthusiast VS Pro I noticed the 991.1 doesn't support coding. Any other reason to buy Pro other than unlimited VIN? Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
  2. Good to know! I'm looking at buying another Durametric or PIWIS II. I'm not sure which one to buy. Is there a preferred vendor for the PIWIS? Being a 991.1 I'm assuming I don't need version 3. I also see a lot of clones that potentially concern me. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
  3. P1466 P1467 C13065 C12007 881202 881308 80310E Scanned with iCarsoft POR II Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
  4. I'm a new 991.1 owner. Is it possible to have stored DTC codes without getting a warning message on the cluster? Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
  5. Failure is most likely in the near future plus if you keep using it you could damage the motor which will increase repair cost. It's a PITA job and I'd recommend you only do it once. Buy a quality replacement from Pelican or similar. S
  6. You most likely have a broken window carrier. It's made primarily from plastic with rollers and a stranded wire. The wire has probably jumped a roller which is causing the screeching sound. http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Boxster_Tech/77-BODY-Window_Regulator/77-BODY-Window_Regulator.htm That should fix your problem. 7. I went for the Coverking Autobody Armor. I'll let you guys know how it works out. S
  8. Pelican Parts sells them for the same price as direct. I've never used PP before but I plan on purchasing various things from them. I'd buy from a dealer instead of direct because it helps everyone out.
  9. Which company makes the best car cover to protect against severe weather and door dings? Is it safe to leave these types of covers on for extended periods of time in wet weather? I've heard stories of paint peeling after becoming wet followed by hot weather.
  10. Hi. I've finally rejoined the Porsche family again after a 10 year hiatus after selling my 83 SC :( . I purchased a beautiful 2003 Boxster S and I'm in the initial stages of collecting the proper tools and materials to maintain and upgrade. It appears that Durametric is the standard for code reading and programing. I use Rosstech for my Audi and it appears similar. Are there any other options other than the factory PIWIS that I should take a look at or is the Durametric the one to own? Thanks Scott
