  1. Thanks much appreciated, was looking for a Jake recommendation!
  2. Last year I purchased a beautiful 99 Boxster which ran fine for a month. 77,000 miles, immaculate condition never even got the tag on it. Pulled in the drive way in forth gear and it sputtered to a stop. Never started again. Spark plug exploded in the cylinder. Death certificate. Local rebuilder quotes $18,000 for souped up upgrade. He has a beautiful shop that looks like a hospital. A little out of my budget at the moment since I am still making payments. Any solutions? Looked at sending it to Motor Meister although after reading reviews I saw where someone called them Motor Shiesters. Are there any rebuilders in America with good reputations? Any on the East coast. Have seen many E-bay ads for $6,000 dollar motors but thats a lot of money with no guarantee. Any suggestions appreciated Gone Surfing
