  1. ok - took things apart this afternoon based on the online guide. looks like this is a little beyond home repair (especially in my home) as the top mechanism is in the way. i can get to the glass but it appears like i will have to strip a lot of things out to get to the regulator. time to take it to the shop unless someone has a good idea.
  2. does anyone have any info on repairing the rear side window on a 2000 cab? mine has stopped going up. it's stuck down and makes a grinding noise. seems like that is what happens on the front ones when the regulator needs replacement. lots of info on replacing the front ones, but i can't find anything on the rear ones. figured i'd ask before tearing the car apart. it's the driver's side if that makes any difference - thanks, alan
  3. Hi - after flooding the back of my 2000 cab I have discovered that I have old/cracked/leaking hoses that take the water into the reservoir. you can see the part in the attached diagram. I cant find this part number anywhere as all the online diagrams i can find seem to be of later model 996s and not for a Yr 2000 - i need left and right - cheers, alan
