The M220 option was available as an option. Also the 88 Turbo S (Silver Rose, early part of model year and other colors later in the model year) had an LSD. All 89 Turbos have an LSD. Looking at the option code sticker will show if the car has the M220 option. Option sticker is located under the carpet, to the left of the rear hatch latch.
