  1. Have a 2005 Turbo S that would always do this as well. Had to place pump filler upside down also to take gas in without it burping out.
  2. I have original 76 seats with the tweed euro seats. The rear were black. The area stored in one of my warehouses. I'll see if I can get to them without to much difficulty.
  3. I have had excellent results on all cars in my shop using 600 grit all the way up to 1500 grit. Then take a foam pad with novis plastic polish. They will look better than new...
  4. I have had the car for four years and pu about 6k on it and it still sounds the same as the day I got it. Rattle Rattle Rattle!!... But pulls like a bull...
  5. The engines do seem to have a rattle noise on every engine when ideling.
  6. I have been told that the case is designed after the old school...

  8. No not motor Shafter.. It was a guy up north. The motor is rebuilt and using euro spec cylinders and pistons along with a NOS euro distributor. She runs beautifulllllllllly...
  9. I have a 2005 turbo S that has the 3.6. I have been told that this engine does not hane the IMS bearing problems that the non turbo 3.6 has. Has anyone had a failure. This engine built similar to the original air cooled case has that does not have this problem.. Any input about failure or problems would be helpful.
  10. Sounds like a rod, your gong to take it down to the crank anyway.
  11. I was just looking for oem, put have not found a new one. Have not looked for old, however was going to make one. Thanks
  12. Thanks for the info.. A lot of work. Not sure if I want to go through all that. May consider using 930 calipers and just modifying the rears to work. I'll post what I'll do. Again thanks for all the info.
  13. Will 1992 C2 brake calipers fit on a 1984 carrera coupe? I would like to use them with the existing rotors.
  14. Loren any leads where I can get these two parts?
  15. Found it part 901.424.319.00. Can't find part anywhere. Any thoughts?
  16. Loren thanks for the quick reply, however I need the part that is on the linkage rod that moves in line with part 20 of your diagram. This part is not shown on you diagram.
  17. Does anyone know the part number of the throttle nut that goes on the throttle rod under the hand brake/throttle linkage that allows the manual throttle linkage to engage with the plastic pc to control the idle up.
  18. I agree with you about taking in hot air from the engine and that is why I did not use it. I purchased for my 2005 tts an Agency Power that needed a small amount if modifications to the deck lid fan plastic housing. Nothing difficult!!!! I paid $550.00 two years ago for th black unit.
  19. How hard are you driving the car. I know of people that have over 100k and they have 80% left. This is not Normal unless you are racing. You may want to check on something else is going on.
  20. Does anyone know where the EDR is located on a 2005 tts. Is is just as simple as disconnecting the battery for 10-15 min.. And then in pluging the unit?
  21. Ok ... Here is the long and short of the problem.. I had the distributor converted to a mechanical unit and the co. That did it said they put new parts in it! However it is old used parts. The magnets broke loose and caused an excessive amount of advance and caused pinging, thus caused the pistons to fail between the rings. Catastrophic running engine failure. We took the engine apart and found that 5 out of 6 pistons and cylinders have damage. Next on the addenda pistons and cylinders. I am deciding if to post this distributor rebuilders name on the web and also if I should place an action on him. Doing background info to see what if anything can be done. Thanks for all your input..
  22. Yes everything was done correctlY, tha only happened about 750 miles ago. The person that did the heads has done 6 other cars without any problems. I went on the forum as a last result prior to pulling the engine and doing a top tear down.. Any other suggestions?
