I had the same issue - it's the right part. I ended up removing the tether, installing the hinge and then reconnecting the tether.

Many people (myself included) use the ATE slotted rotors for the Cayenne with the large brake option (350mm). They fit perfectly but they do not have the little screw hole for the locating screw (not a problem at all). The upside is they are a fraction of the cost ($130/each) and seem to last much better than the drilled ones. I have a CEL problem that is driving me nuts. Car is indicating codes P0136 and P0140 (P0136 porsche fault code 17 - o2 sensor aging behind cat bank 1; P0140 porsche fault code 12 - o2 sensor behind cat conv bank 1) When I reset CEL, it stays off for a while, but then comes back. It usually comes back while traveling under light acceleration/coasting - sometimes within a few minutes of being restarted (eg after stopping for gas). I had all the O2 sensors replaced - same problem. One of the aftermarket mufflers from the PO was making strange sounds and blew out its packing so I replaced both of them too - still same problem. Funny thing is the CEL won't come on at the track or when driving briskly - only under light acceleration/coasting. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone has an electrical diagram for the O2 sensors etc, that would be appreciated - I suspect this is an electrical problem - maybe the signal or other wire shorting out. [/size]

After getting in an accident which broke the passenger HID headlight the PO replaced the passenger HID headlight (with washer) with a non HID light (w/o washer). To get the lights to look the same, he then converted both lights to HID using an aftermarket HID kit (he removed the stock HID components from the good light and replaced with aftermarket). I found a used passenger HID light and plan to put it in, but I need the wiring diagram to 1) undue any connection changes he may have made to both sides for the aftermarket kit and (2) to remove the aftermarket kit from the drivers side and replace with stock HID components.

Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for the Xenon headlights on a 2004 996 (GT3). The PO put in some sort of aftermarket lights and I'd like to reverse the process.
