  1. Yes fuse for the amp not in the fuse box

would the fuse inside the amp? because I don't see anything in the outside....btw my radio is cd23 or something like that. I removed the radio and verified the back 10amp fuse and looks good. next step will be checking the speaks cable, maybe some are making ground and the radio goes in a protection mode.

  2. I have a non gps radio, the regular one with cd. The thing here is ...if the back fuse is blown the radio should not turn on. In my case is different ...the radio indeed turn on and have the right led display, but no sound at all. I believe it had to be something with the amp power bose package.

  3. Hey guys,

I have a new problem now with the radio. This morning I turned the radio on but no sound is coming out. Radio works and light up but apparently something is happen with the amp, may be a blown fuse. I checked the fuse box and no fuses were blown. I pop the hood to check the amp and notice the small hood bulb light is not working too. There's any other fuse box I can check, because looks like a fuse is blown or no power going to the amp. Any suggestion?

  4. Haven't seen that happen before unless... over-torqued or someone hit the car from behind.

Sorry, you can only order the whole lens assembly from Porsche (MSRP $540 each) or try a salvage yard for a good set of used lens.

wow....okay....so I would wait then for the led tail light to come out. In the mid time I'll look some glue <_<

    Thanks, Loren!

  5. Hi folks,

Today, I noticed that both rear tail lights had a broken the plastic bracket base. Apparently the screws were so tight that cracked the plastic base. There's any solution for this or I had to replace the entire tail light?

    Thanks for the help!

  6. Glad you fix it, now to get some nice runs .

I would like to do the runs but not with this poor weather, btw there's gonna be a half mile run event for top speed next month if you interested let me know I can reserved you a space

  7. Seems like if the clutch reservoir was that low that there must be a leak somewhere or bad accumulator.

Well the previous owner advised me that I had to check the clutch reservoir every 4 to 6 months, apparently he didn't checked for the past months. I heard that by time to time the chf 11s can be evaporated because it's a mineral oil and since we are in a tropical weather this should be expected, can this be true? Can this be the answer for the missing fluid? I had double checked for any leaks and their no signs.

Good job! But keep an eye on the clutch reservoir level, it should not become so low....

I will definitely gonna have it on the my preventive maintenance schedule.

    Thanks!

  8. It is a possibility but my concern is where all this Pentosin went to, since the reservoir was found empty???? In the past we saw many Pentosin migration that was cause by a faulty slave cylinder. But your case seem different. To be honest with you I did not see a clutch master failure so far but a mechanical part can fail! May be , since the reservoir was empty, you should try to bleed the system....And do a very good leak check....

I had great news! I just fixed!!!

I came back and started to inspect the master cylinder and the reservoir area for any leaks. No leaks were found in the reservoir area, so I went inside the car to take a look of the functionality of the master cylinder clutch and everything seems to look right until I started to hand pressed the clutch pedal. I noticed that the master cylinder did not returned completely to the forward position, so I manually pulled the clutch pedal and felt a bit of pressure ( the feeling was like if the master cylinder was jammed ) then I pressed the clutch pedal a few more times and voila! Started the engine and the shifting was even smoother, made a test drive and works perfectly.

  9. Thanks for the information! double checking the sympthoms looks that the master cylinder clutch failed. I had not pentosin leak in any area but still no pressure in the clutch pedal. When the engine is on no gear can be shift, but once the engine is off then I can shift to any gear without any problem.

  10. Hi guys, I recently bought a 2003 911 Turbo with 47k miles. After 2 week of usage the clutch is not working, I can't shift any gear and the clutch pedal is so loose that goes all the way down. I researched a little bit and notice that the clutch accumulator reservoir tank was empty, so I pour some pento chf 11s but still no gear engaging. I pressed the clutch pedal 35 times and still the same. right now i just can't move the car. any advised will be appreciated.
