Sounds like coil pack or maybe check camshaft deviation, worst case might be IMS bearing that is on the way out, so it turns on engine fault??
Your oil pressure is still very low, when idle hot.
I have 2,2 bar hot, and 4,5 when cold...I use Millers Nanodrive 10w-50 (but only 2 years old engine)
Good luck

Hey great for you...what has been done to the engine?
It should be great weather here in Copenhagen this weekend;-))
-
Is it a 3.4 or 3.6.?
Hope you are right, about taking the car to germany...but I think you are...
They must know a lot more about these engines, and how to fix them right, than MLA.
I have only nice to say about MLA Copenhagen, but you pay the price;-))
Good luck, and maybe I will see you on the road, here in CPH;-)
Let us know further more about how it goes...

Any news fra MLA Copenhagen?
-
Does not sound good, sounds like pistons might pumping air in your coolant.
Look at your coolant fluid, it must be clear and light red, otherwise you have a big problem.
(Nice to see another from Copenhagen)
Held og lykke

Change it anyway, then you will have a peace in mind ;-)
I would...

The car sounds nice, but I would not buy a 996 with an engine fault to start with, no matter what.
Get the seller to fix it, before you buy it...
Best of luck

A1000 thanks;-))It's 99742401000 and it will fit. It comes with the whole black shifter assembly so you just disconnect the two cables from your assembly and swap out the whole thing. Some good photos here http://www.ecstuning.com/Porsche-2009-911-997-Carrera-Coupe-H6_3.6L/Search/99742401000/ES1499714/?salesrep=jcrabtree

+1Also inspect the tensioner assembly for range of motion and condition of the belt but it does sound like the alternator is on it's way out.

Maybe the user manual can help...?
I know my 2003 has a +terminal at the fusebox, that you can pull put about 3cm, so it can be charged.

+1Have I missed something here or on other sites regarding many problems with people installing the IMS bearing kits. I read this site and several others on pretty much a daily basis and I think this thread is the only one I can recall talking about problems with installs. I have also not seen much of anything about failures of the LNE bearings.Ian also Leary that the manufacturers and I staplers are ever going to be 100% accountable if a unit fails. Maybe if an nostalgia has problems.I still think the bearing kits and the new IMS solution should be made available to the general public. If people need help with the install then charge then for the help. This is done for lots of products.
