  1. Yes it was road force balanced. Are cardan shaft bearing support an issue on the 2008s?
  2. Ok I have two new control arms and a set of new tires well balance. I still have vibration at highway speeds. When I go over speed bumps I get a whoosh sound from my left front so I suspect my strut may be bad but no leaks and it looks good. So can one bad strut cause vibrations? Does my 08 cs have strut mounts? Could that be the problem? Thanks
  3. Thanks for that thorough reply. Did play with the wheel and not much movement at all. The bushing was cracked but very minimal play. I guess I will go ahead and have it done. I was just perplexed since although it is cracked I expected more play or looseness. Thanks
  4. Got new tires and went to get alignment. Told me I needed a new right lower control arm since they couldn't fully correct the camber. I took it to another shop and when they got the car up both sides had about the same amount of play. I just changed my left lower control arm at 50k miles and both inner joints look about the same. How much play is normal? It moves about half in inch with a pry bar. 2008 cs 58k Thanks
  5. I have 41k on my 2008 Cayenne S. Thinking about doing the spark plugs, when I went to look at the torque arm I noticed that there was no triple square socket. It was just a regular hex bolt. Are the MY08 different or did someone mess with the engine previously? I'm the second owner. Every diy spark/coil talks about this triple square. Also, just changed the air filter and cabin filter. Not too hard but those air filter covers can be a pain getting back on right.
  6. Hi, I'm moving to the Northern VA area just outside of DC. I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations for indy porsche shops. I need 40k service pretty soon. Has anyone gone to IMA motorsports? Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks
