  1. As others have said find another tire shop FYI my 2009 still has original sensors, knock on wood
  2. Amazon has OBD2 scan tools that will scan and reset codes with smart phones, my buddy has one he paid less than $40 for and it works as advertised
  3. Like JFP said throughly clean engine, including the topside, I say that because liquid flows downhill and could be coming from filter cap or filler cap Once you get the engine spotless and dry, spray some ARRID XXX DRY deodorant on suspect areas (sounds crazy but we use it on radial aircraft Engines to trace leaks, it works) then run the engine till it’s warm, hopefully it’s nothing more than a loose cap/fitting
  4. I've got a 09 love it Air filter change simple I think its 8 torx screws and one electrical clip and cover is off Same for oil changes Can' attest to spark plugs as mine only has 13k on it
  5. Changed mine at the three year point to avoid those issues, Car is not driven on a regular basis so battery sits for extended periods, not the best thing for it
  6. My 2009 S has gone though two of the switches in 12k, dealer replaced last one with the latest version supposed to be a better mouse trap. Indicated that Porsche is aware of the problem and has been replacing bad switches at no cost
  7. Sorry My dealer said it was under the carpet, I believe you guys It appears it was a problem, as Porsche has a revised switch, supposed to fix problem, fingers crossed
  8. My 2009 is going in for second replacement of clutch/starter switch, starting to think I press down to hard on clutch pedal when engaging clutch
  9. Dimple magnetic drain plug may be your answer tapered at the base uses no washer installed on my 2009S no leaks
  10. Just had my 2009 cs2 in for starting problems, IE turn the key all lights come on nothing happens. Had to turn key on off many times while depressing clutch pedal to get it to turn over. Seems the switch for the starter lockout was at fault, dealer here in Newport Beach is familiar with problem, may be a issue for other cars as he is seeing this issue more and more. Switch is under floor carpet does not appear to be a good design, as it appears I depress the clutch to far thus destroying switch. Just a FYI if your having starting issues
  11. Same issue, same color leather. 2009 carrera S 7500 miles looks pretty bad, do not think porsche will do anything about it, although will check this week as having start problems going back to porsche again
